We are very excited to announce that Sharathji will be coming back to Bali this June 20-25. The workshop will be hosted at the Njana Tilem Museum a gorgeous location just a few minutes from Ubud center. Ubud and its surrounding areas have magical temples, waterfalls, emerald rice fields, sacred rivers and almost endless natural beauty. Go a bit further and world class surf and beautiful beaches await you. Bali is also famous for its hospitality and exceptional accommodation for all budgets. Did I mention food? The cuisine and coffee in Ubud are in a class of their own. We highly recommend you spend some days sampling Indonesian, Balinese and vegan cuisine. Pro-tip, do not miss a visit or five to the legendary Sayuri’s Healing Food cafe.

Schedule

June 20th – 25th, 2023

6 days led primary

Sharathji usually allows most participants to practice the full primary series even if they cannot do all of the asanas. Sharathji reserves the right to stop anyone at any at anytime. Please be respectful if you are asked to stop or modify your practice. If you are not sure about your level of experience feel free to consult with us via email.

3 days led intermediate & 3 days led primary

Intermediate June 21, 22 & 23rd. Led Primary June 20th, 24 & 25

Please be aware that only those who have learned intermediate from Sharathji, an authorized or certified teacher should join this class. This class is very challenging and if Sharathji deems you not ready then you may be asked to stop even in the first few asanas. If this does happen please respectfully listen to Sharathji and the next day join the primary series class only. (No refunds offered if you are asked to stop)
If you do not practice at least until Eka Pada Sirsasana with relative ease and comfort then it is suggested that you join the primary class. If you are not sure about your level of experience feel free to consult with us.

Booking and Payment

At the moment it is only possible to book for all six days of the workshop. We may have drop-ins available on site but this will depend on available space. Dropins if available will only be possible for primary class. No drop-ins will be possible for intermediate class.
Please make sure to pay within 72 hours of your registration or your booking may be cancelled.
Please let us know after you have made your payment with transaction details or screenshots so we can confirm. We will follow up with more details about the workshop as we get closer to the date.
There are four options for payment.

Please choose whichever payment method is most convenient for you.

1. Indonesian residents may use domestic bank transfer (5,200,000 rupiah)
2. All students may use credit card. Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Amex:($360)
3. All students may use international wire. ($360)
4. All students may use BTC or lightning network.($350)

Things to know and bring

  • Please bring your own yoga mat. The floor is tile and quite hard so make sure your yoga mat is thick enough for comfort
  • We will not have rental yoga mats. Please bring your own
  • We do not have towels or spray bottles so please bring what you need.
  • Please show your ticket before entering the practice space each day.
  • No recording audio, video or taking photos during practice or while Sharathji is teaching.
  • Keep the area around your mat free of objects such as water bottles, bags, phones and unnecessary items.
  • Sharathji usually allows most participants to practice the full primary series in led class but Sharathji reserves the right to stop anyone at any asana . Please be respectful if you are asked to stop.

Hotels and transportation while in Ubud

Transportation

  • From the airport

    We suggest you have your hotel arrange pick up though there are taxi services available at the arrival terminal. It is about 1 hour to central Ubud from the airport.

  • To the workshop

    The workshop will be held at Njana Tilem Museum which is less than 10 minutes by scooter or car from central Ubud. To get to and from the workshop we suggest either renting a car, scooter or using either grab or gojek (app based taxi service) both are very reliable. We suggest you download the apps for Gojek or Grab before arriving in Bali. Your hotel should also be able to arrange transportation. You can download the apps on your respective App Store.

  • Hotels

    There are a wide variety of comfortable places to stay in Ubud. We have compiled a list that covers a limited range of prices and styles. Most are in central Ubud and take an average of 10 minutes to reach Njana Tilem Museum by motorcycle or car. We suggest that you use Agoda.com or booking.com to explore available options. Airbnb.com also has wide variety of bungalows, villas and unique homes to rent. Please make sure to do your own research and to be clear on the location and distance to the venue. This list is compiled only as suggestions and we cannot guarantee or vouch for the quality, price or availability of any of the options below. June is busy season in Bali so I suggest booking sooner rather than later for best deals and locations.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • No cancellations or refunds once tickets are purchased for any reason. You may however transfer tickets to another person. Please just inform us so we can note the name for pickup.
  • Workshop fees will be refunded only if the workshop is cancelled minus exchange rate fees, transfers fees and other transaction fees.
  • Changes in the dates, location or for a partially completed workshop are not considered a cancelled workshop. In this case refunds may not be possible.
